Hey, you. You're finally awake.

A short game about you — aka the Voyager. Your job is to visit an alien planet using your handy-dandy spaceship. The planet you embark upon is known as Dionlite. Your report says that Dionlite is a treacherous planet filled with unknown species and hostile climates. Do you have what it takes to explore the planet?

HELL YEAH!

No (return to site button)

You are known across the galaxy as a Voyager, a profession for those who want to explore the solar system and see what it has to offer. This profession can be very profitable, but it can also be extremely dangerous. Sometimes you'll come across a planet with nothing but rocks, but other times, you can find one rich in valuable resources like oil and ores or minerals. And other times you'll find yourself parked in the middle of a deadly planet that wants to swallow you whole, and not in the good way.

You're currently sitting in your very expensive state-of-the-art spaceship. You've nicknamed it the Shepard, as it protects and guides you through the cosmos. Yes, you are very creative and gifted at naming things, and a fan of Firefly. You sit back now in your captain's chair as the planet, Dionlite, comes into view. It's average in size, nothing too big to handle. You've handled bigger. The thing that caught your eye first about the planet is its purple surface.

Your current mission is to investigate the planet known as Dionlite. Not much is known about the planet besides its central location.

I hope you like the color purple because as you dock onto Dionlite's surface, everything around you seems to be purple. From the violet sky to the lavender-colored grass. You grab your gear and equip yourself appropriately for your exploration. You grab your pack and head to the door.

And off you trot.

The planet seems quiet for now. There are no immediate threats or creatures, which you supposed could be a good thing. You venture a bit further from the Shepard, looking for high ground to get a better view of the surrounding enviornment. Spotting a hill, you climb up and peer out at what you can see.

In the distance, you spot two areas of interest. To the west, you spot what appears to be a cabin bordering a woodland area. The cabin looks old and lived in, with smoke coming from the chimney. There also appear to be some interesting crops on the farm of... purple. Even the vegetation appears to be purple on this planet. It would look very... appetizing in a stew.

However, to the east, sits a large settlement made of stone and quartz. It looks a big deal nicer than that cabin, but it's also filled with a bunch of people, you presume, and you have no idea how they would react to an outsider such as yourself.

Should you pay a visit to the cabin? Or boldly stroll into the large settlement?

Your mother didn't raise a pansy. You boldly slide down the hill and follow the path to the large settlement of stone in the east.

As you approach, you see what looks to be multiple guards at the entrance. They had shiny amethyst (yes, more purple) armor on and were armed with swords and shields. Warriors or paladins, you presume. This isn't your first rodeo with a planet that was still medieval.

They were guarding the entrance with unmoving bodies, their eyes scanning the enviornment before them. They appeared to mean business.

Perhaps it would be better just to turn back now and come back later after gathering more information. Or you could always walk up to them.

5

You approach the guards, who immediately stand at alert at the sight of you.

Halt! one demands, stopping you before you can get too close. Their eyes scan your gear and appearance. You do not belong here. Be gone with you.

So much for a warm welcome. What should you say in return to this (rude) guard?

6

Voyager? Did you say Voyager? the man asks in disbelief.

Before you can confirm, they raise their weapons and charge toward you.

Kill the Voyager! They cannot be trusted!

Before you could react, they were on top of you. You're no stranger to combat, but their numbers make short work of you. You're stabbed and slashed, causing your protecive gear to break and the hits land directly on your chest.

YOU HAVE DIED.

(Would you like to try again?)

7

No, says the guard. Outsiders are not allowed in the Queen's city. I suggest you run back to the woods where you crawled out of, lest we remove you ourselves, peasant! The man gives an intimidating gesutre of slamming his fist onto the hilt of his sword, letting you know he would use force if necessary.

Well, that was very rude, but you have little choice. You turn around and go back in the opposite direction. Seeing as the only other landmark you saw was the woodland cabin, you head west toward the cabin to investigate and hope that whoever resides there is more welcoming than those pissy guards.

8

Caution is always smart to proceed with.

You turn around and go back in the opposite direction after deciding that you wish to walk away with your life and avoid a potentional tricky situation. Seeing as the only other landmark you saw was the woodland cabin, you head west toward the cabin to investigate it instead.

9

You make your way to the cabin in the east. As you approach, you start the smell the enticing aroma of food, even though you ate before this expedition.

You notice no one outside, besides a makeshift scarecrow in the farm. You approach the front door of the cabin. You try to listen in, but it's silent within. Yet, you know someone must be home, as the smoke keeps rising from the chimney.

What do you do?
